Rooted in Nordic flavours, our bakery specialises in small-batch, high-quality products baked on-site daily, offering an inviting space for you to pause, enjoy, and indulge.

Midsommar Bakery was founded by baker and musician Nathalie Stern, born and raised in Västerås, Sweden, and Ben Dickenson, a Newcastle native and creative entrepreneur. What began as a side-hustle grew into a local market favourite, regularly selling out at pop-ups and becoming a supplier to cafés across the city. Now we’re proudly filling alley 2 at the Grainger Market with the sweet smells and tastes of Sweden.
